The National Association of School Psychologists (NASP) African Diaspora subcommittee, as part of its Multicultural Affairs Committee, has initiated the NASP Exposure Project. The goal of this project is to expose high school students and undergraduates, especially those from diverse backgrounds, to school psychology as a career. This grassroots effort aims to attract students from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds into school psychology graduate programs, reducing the shortages of qualified school psychologists.

What is NASP Exposure Project, and how does it work?
NASP Exposure Project (NASPEP) is an initiative to expose high school students and undergraduates to school psychology as a profession. Graduate students, faculty members, or practitioners of school psychology can participate in this project by presenting to high school students and undergraduates in their area. These materials for presentations, prepared by NASP experts, are adaptable and available via Dropbox. This project provides an opportunity for school psychologists to give back to the community and help address the shortage of school psychologists.
